Sometimes we know we need help but don't know where to start. A consultation session consists of one or two initial individual sessions aimed at finding where to begin. Dawn Patrol Assessments can help you identify where you might want to start, whether it is counseling needs or a referral to other programs; we are always looking out for your best interest. Initial consultation session is FREE.
Assessments are one to one sessions aimed at evaluating various components of a person’s life in order to develop a holistic perspective of strengths, needs, abilities and preferences. Examples of assessments include: adolescent substance abuse assessments for those suspended from school due to drug or alcohol related incidents, adult addiction severity index assessment for level of care, referral by the criminal justice system (probation/parole), or mental health evaluations.
Therapy is a journey, which can lead to a more accurate understanding of self. Individual one-on-one counseling sessions can help you discover a clearer picture of the direction you would like to take and enjoy a more healthy and productive life. We all have personal struggles, but we also all have the potential to overcome them. Individual sessions are aimed at realizing that potential.
Integrating back into the community after incarceration can be tough. The intent here is to provide consistent, safe and effective treatment services for those transitioning out of the criminal justice system. These sessions focus on criminogenic needs to help develop a treatment plan with you so success is obtainable. Criminogenic needs are aspects of a person or their situation that when changed, are associated with changes in criminal thinking and behaviors.
Family can be your biggest advocate and support system. These sessions aim to assist and empower families to live in harmony with one another. To provide a holistic approach, families and significant others are involved in the collaboration of change. These sessions are used to provide support and goals for everyone involved to work together.
